How to Create a Weight-Loss Mindset?

Having a strong 'Weight-Loss Mindset' is not something people are born with, nor is it created. Similarly to everyone's different athletic ability, each person has varying levels. Just as some people have natural abilities to become Olympic athletes, there are some people who must undergo hard work to achieve massive success.

With the same number of failed athletes, there are also those who, no matter how hard they try, will never develop the 'Weight-Loss Mindset' needed to make a huge difference in their lives. The good news is that unlike your athletic ability, there are no limitations to what your mind can do. Therefore, the ability to improve your mind is infinite.

If you are serious about developing a powerful 'Weight-Loss Mindset' the best way to start is to get a clear vision about your ultimate goal. Your goal must be as narrow and specific as possible. For example, don't just say that you want to lose weight. Make your goal so specific that you will lose 30 pounds in the next 3 months. This goal is specific and easily obtainable so it won't add additional stress as if you were to state unattainable goals.

Next, you want to create 10 positive and 10 negative reasons why you want to lose the weight. These reasons will keep you motivated throughout and after the process. Some example of positive goals are that you want more energy to play with your children, or you want to be able to go on a vacation while looking and feeling great in a bikini or speedos.

Some negative reasons to lose weight might be that you are tired of what you see in the mirror each day or that you are uncomfortable in your clothes and don't want to buy a larger size. There are many more reasons you can add to this list but this should give you a starting point. Reviewing this list daily should help keep you on track for lasting results.
